Clinical Supervision

“You get in life what you have the courage to ask for.”

– Oprah Winfrey

Clinical Supervision allows us to work together in a “safe space” in which you can look at your skills, become exposed to new ideas, and take the risk of trying those new ideas and methods to enable yourself to grow clinically. Even though supervision is never intended to be a personal counseling session, bringing personal challenges that affect your ability to effectively work with your families is encouraged. My desire is for you to grow as a therapist and an individual through the supervision process.

We will also work on accountability, ethics, and best practice principles by reflecting together on your work. This process will include recognizing potential challenges with objectivity and professional boundaries, focusing on personal awareness, identifying the importance of the therapeutic alliance while maintaining trust, and collaborating with clients to work towards their therapeutic goals.

We offer clinical supervision for behavioral and mental health issues, including domestic violence, substance abuse, depression and anger menagement.

Rates and context of service:

  • Supervisee will have a minimum of 1 hour of supervision for every 15 client contact hours.
  • Supervision will be scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time and day on a weekly basis.
  • One hour of individual supervision weekly for $40/hr.
  • Although I encourage individual supervision sessions to be in-person, up to 50% of individual supervision sessions may be conducted via webcam as per Florida Administrative Code 64B4-2.002

Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for your scheduled supervisor session, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, a $25 cancellation fee will apply.
